Her latest photog tactics include slightly crouching, lowering the camera, pointing it in my general vicinity and hoping for the best. The first four of those photos were nothing but black blurs as I moved around, but then she got a few decent ones. Finally, she sat in MY chair, slowly lowered the camera and got two photos of my face.
I'm resigned to my fate.

It is actually quite fun to make photography duties as difficult as possible! I think I have whittled this down to a fine art.
Imagine if the tables were turned, and we followed them around with the stupid camera!
Some of today's photos do a great job of showing how beautifully soft and shiny your fur is, Mr. Black.
You know, sometimes cooperating truly is the easiest approach...

Mr Black...it's hard enough getting a decent shot of any black animal, much less one that isn't cooperating :) Maybe that could be your Christmas/birthday/New Year/Halloween gift to your mom this year :)

Mr. Black, part of the fun is frustrating your mom when she insists on taking pictures. You need to remind her that at least she doesn't have to waste money on film.
And actually, now that I think about it, all that saved money should be used on you!

My Babs is also very difficult for photos,'ve tried using the zoon, only gave good results on the street, inside the pictures come out dark, we'll keep trying hehe.

Mr. Black, you remind us so much of one of our kitties here who is also black. Her name is BG, Black Girl and she does not like the camera either. She is always moving around. Black cats are hard to take pictures of anyway. But at least we saw two pictures of your handsome face. Take care.
