Here are a couple of photos of me from this morning. In the first one, I am patrolling the perimeter of my territory. In the second, I am on the last remaining wooden bench from a very old patio set. It is most excellent for doing claw work.
Today there are photos of two ornaments. The first one is of a glass deer that the lady's brother gave her in the early 90's. There are two matching deer made of frosted glass with clear glass antlers. They are very delicate and lovely.
The second ornament is a of a cat in a gift box. The lady's friend Julie got it for her when she and her husband went on a trip to San Francisco in 2002. It is seven inches tall, with sparkles on the "snow" in the box and on the polka dots on the box.

I am sure no one dares to invade the King's territory Mr. Black!!
Great patrolling! Love the ornaments. I told my Dad,he should post some of ours, they are his great Grandmothers.
Mr. Black , keep your clawing techniques up on that old bench...your sharpened swords will come in handy for any introoders!
Lovely ornaments :)
the critters in the cottage xo
Mum hasn't gotten out any breakables for Christmouse yet.
Your family must take comfort knowing you do perimeter checks ;)
We think those ornaments are lovely!!

Actually, I think I would like to bite those antlers, Mr. Black.
Very cool ornaments. We love ornaments in this house and remember where each and every one came from. he he I love batting them too,.
I love these ornaments, especially the kitty one, of course! My human has some very pretty ornaments... maybe if she is not too lazy, we kitties will get to see them this year!
Those are absolutely charming ornaments! And go you on having a great place for claw work! We're jealous! Purrs...
It looks like you have done some good claw work on that patio set, Mr. Black!
Those are some nice photos of you sweet kitty! I love that white deer ornament. I think it would match on my tree! :)
Happy week to you!

Hi, Mr. Black, regarding the comment you left on our blog - what version of Photshop Elements do you have that has "save for web?" Just curious.
I thought there was going to be some sad story of the "fate" (i.e., demise) of the second deer at your paws...but surprisingly, no! We love that kitty-in-a-box ornament--and it's so nice and BIG, too ;-)
I'm kind of glad you didn't write about the tripe and beef with mustard cause, frankly, it doesn't sound like anything I would eat. ::shudder:: I like my foodz straight from the can, please!
You look to be on a mission, Mr. Black. Our mission would be to bring some of those lovely ornaments off that tree!
Your lady puts breakable ornaments on your tree? Seriously?! Wow! You must be very good about the tree, Mr. Black. Let us show you what fun whapping ornaments can be!
(Human's note: Actually, the boys are pretty good about the tree, generally. Not perfect--lol--but pretty good nonetheless.)
The Lady is one brave woman to put up a tree with such pretty and delicate ornaments on it, while there is a panther on patrol!
love love love that kitty ornament!!
Beautiful glass ornaments, imagine the reflection of the lights of the Christmas tree.
You're doing a good job Mr. Black, he found an intruder?
You look most determined in that first shot, Mr. Black!
Great ornaments. #1 got a barn owl ornament today, since we have a family living in our attic!
Purrs,
The Chns
You certainly are a committed patroller Mr B.
