Castles in the Sky

I took a little walk over to Hearst Castle today. It is not too far away from where we live so I thought I'd go check it out. The lady has been there a few times but she has never taken me. I knew I wouldn't be allowed on any of the guided tours, so I decided to meander around on my own. Here are a couple of the photos. I'll show you more in upcoming days.

Here I am gazing up at the main part of the castle.

This is the gothic study. I thought I saw a mouse run under the table.

Two ornaments. Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.

A kitty holding an ornament.

P.S. A correction regarding yesterday's little kitty ornament. It is a Ganz kitty, not Gund. Her name is "TuTu."

That is a very lovely view out the study window. MOM says she would not get much studying done if she had that to look at.

My human has always wanted to go to Hearst Castle, and in fact recognized it right away from the first photo! In fact, we live only a few hours from it.

My Stoopy Human has been to Cambria and all around there and NEFUR even gone to the Castle! Maybe one day (when the LadyCats have all had their rides) you and me can fire up the FURRari and zip on over there--you could show me around all the good places!
