Early Thanks

Although it is still a couple of days away from Thanksgiving, I was giving some thought to things I'm thankful about. The first thing that came to mind was food (the lady and I are very much alike in that area!).

I get about a tablespoon of Fancy Feast Classic wet food (various flavors...salmon is my favorite, followed by chicken) every afternoon between four and five o'clock.

Then, I have kibble (a mix of very good food) that I can eat when I feel like it. I like to leave a few kibbles in the bowl for "emergencies."

Clarification: I only get 3/4 cup of kibble, not an unlimited supply!

This yellow bowl is my favorite because it doesn't scrunch my whiskers.

If you have unlimited kibble, we're coming to your house too. We get 1 TBSP kibble each, AM and PM, so 2 TBSP for the day. The human forces us to eat canned with a bit of added water the rest of the time. Not a problem for Nicki, but Derry is a kibble-head!

In our opinion, the importance of food can not be overrated. Wide bowls are the best!

I get to eat as much as I want! But then, I am picky, and small, and it rarely amounts to more than a small can of wet food and some treats.

A tablespoon??? Why, that's just an insupportable OUTRAGE, that's what that is. A KING deserves at LEAST half-a-can. What's WRONG with your Human, King Mr. B??? A tablespoon???? ::wanders off shaking his head::

I yakked up the stinky goodness yesterday, It was hairball evacuation time!! But I do agree about not squishing one's whiskers! There's nothing worse!!!

We get about a tablespoon, too, only because any more and Russell's vacuuming will cause him to go off like a fountain, and Pee and I only lick off the gravy part. Caroline never touches hers because she's a little princess. Our dinner is at about 5:00, but we all get to free-feed all day, including Mom.

WE are thankful for the very same things. We are so lucky to have someone provide food and shelter for all of us. You sure are looking good Mr. Black. Hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

you "leave" kibble in the bowl for emergencies??? You mean you don't inhale it all like I do???? I can't let my Mom see this. She has to give me kibble ALL day long and I NEVER leave it over!
